The Dove Lane project continues to be developed towards a full planning application, which is expected to be submitted in 2008.

In June last year, the second public consultation focussed on key issues and conceptual design options. We received a positive and thoughtful response by post, email, and at the two open days.

Since then, Places for People and The PG Group have been approached by the City Council and are considering the implications of adding to the planning application the site of the Cabot Primary School, in return for which this and other facilities would be re-provided in the new development. As this is increasing the application site by nearly 25%, we are taking some further time to be better prepared for the next consultation stage, which is likely to be held in the Autumn, when we hope to offer some clear and exciting proposals for consultation.
